Bummas Wipes Review and Giveaway!

Y’all requested wipes, so here are some more! Bummas are great cloth wipes initially created with the intent of blocking little boy pee attacks during diaper changes. It is a super absorbant wipe that can contain an entire pee mess should your little one aim for you without a diaper for cover.  The creators also made these wipes to help dry off the diaper area before actually putting a diaper back on their children. One of the major causes of diaper rash is too much moisture being trapped against the skin. By using these wipes to ensure your baby’s bee-hind is thoroughly dry, you can greatly reduse your child’s risk of irritating diaper rash.

Another wonderful benefit of these wipes is that you don’t have to use powder. Doctors have recently stated that talc powder may be a cause of SIDs (sudden infant death syndrome)  because the baby breaths in the powder. It can cause pneumonia and irriated lungs as well. Cornstarch powder can help yeast grow. Have you ever seen a baby yeast infection? Not pretty. If you keep the area nice and dry, you also will have no need for diaper rash creams.

I love the bright, fun colors! These wipes are a little on the small side.  They are close to the size of a 5X7 index card. Their sizes makes them perfect for pee catches, outtings, and not-so-nasty changes. On the big, messy diapers, I prefer a larger wipe so I’m not having to use as many and don’t have to worry about getting dirty hands. They are very durable, though. After washing them for about two months, I still haven’t had any issues with fraying or colors fading. They’re soft enough to wipe Sully’s messy face after a meal, but the terry cloth allows them to be strong enough to hold in the grossness. I also love all the many colors. SO cute!
